Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
• Conduct material take-offs and determine quantities needed for each project
• Source and obtain competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
• Prepare clear and detailed written proposals, including scope of work and pricing breakdown
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure accurate and timely completion of estimates
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather information for accurate estimating
• Keep up-to-date with current industry trends, market conditions, and pricing
• Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
• Proficiency in construction estimating software
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
