Title: Construction Estimator (Fort Lauderdale, FL)

DO YOU WANT

• To assist in the preconstruction phase of assigned projects?
• To lead and guide other project team members, i.e. Project Engineers, Project Administrators?

YOU MUST HAVE

• A bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university in Construction Management or a related field.
• The ability to formulate Project specific financial plans to enable accurate projection of project cost and profitability.
• The ability to cooperate with internal and external stakeholders of the project, in a professional manner.
• Proficiency in networking and managing relationships in accordance with effective written and oral communication.
• The ability to travel occasionally within the United States.

YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Planning, directing, and coordinating all project-related administrative activities and the staffing requirements for the Project with the Project Team.
• Working with the Preconstruction Director as necessary to complete all assigned projects on time and within budget parameters.
• Developing budget estimates, assisting in project setup, conducting site investigations, and coordinating in-house meetings.
• Developing project schedules, preparing subcontractor/vendor purchasing schedules, attending preconstruction meetings with stakeholders.
• Submitting plans for permitting, reviewing permitted Construction Documents; advising project team of changes and effect on project budget.

• M-F work schedule; no weekends, occasional evenings

• Annual performance review within 30 days of your anniversary
• Continue to grow within the Estimating Department and the opportunity to gain responsibility on larger projects

COMPENSATION

• Salary: $100,000-$115,000 annually based on experience
