Job Title: Construction Estimator

Job Description

As a Construction Estimator, you will attend pre-bid site visits to walk through project plans and specifications. Your role will involve locating and soliciting vendors and suppliers, performing quantity take-offs and estimates, and preparing detailed scopes of work, proposals, and bid submittals. You will also negotiate with proposed subcontractors and assist with writing subcontracts. A key part of your role will be to build, develop, and maintain business relationships vital to the growth and success of the company.

Hard Skills

• Experience bidding on demolition construction projects

• Proficiency in HeavyBid

• Proficiency in Bluebeam

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications

Soft Skills

• Technology savvy

• Strong negotiation skills

• Excellent relationship-building skills

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Work Environment

In-office daily with some opportunities to visit project sites to better understand the projects being estimated.
