The OSP Construction Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all construction activities including but not limited to: design, permitting, build, and cutover of OSP projects. The Construction Coordinator must be highly detailed, communicative, collaborative, task driven and comfortable working with technology. This role requires self-motivation and strong project coordination experience in order to contribute to all areas of expertise with various cross-functional teams.
Tracks project objectives by reviewing tasks, conferring with management and communicating with contractors;
Assigns tasks to internal and external teams including contractor resources;
Supports construction manager in the field with newly acquired information and updates of progress;
Participates in project calls and provides updates where applicable;
Collects updates from construction contractors in the field and provides status reports;
Reports on specific project milestones, risks, and issues;
Communicates with all teams involved and drive progress for each project;
Manages data within proprietary software;
Interacts daily with stakeholders to interpret their needs and requirements;
Checks and responds to emails;
Able to work necessary hours as required to meet project deadlines;
Travels to customer sites, project areas, business related events, and other Ritter Communications locations as required;
Other related duties and projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of various operating systems, Word, Excel, Explorer and Outlook;

Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential;
Ability to travel for business requirements; must possess a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required; three years of OSP construction work experience and/or demonstrated proficiency equal to job knowledge skills and abilities required.
