Construction Coordinator

Title: Construction Coordinator Location: Troy, MO - Onsite Duration: 12 Months Contract Rate: Hourly Rate- Negotiable About the Role: Our client into Automotive is urgently looking for a Construction Coordinator to join their team for a renovation of a facility project based out of San Antonio, TX for a long term contract. Responsibilities: Responsible for managing general contractors and subcontractors, testing agencies, budgets and schedules. Administer construction contracts; conduct on-site inspection to monitor plan compliance. Direct activities of contractors and subcontractors to support project schedules in compliance with plans and specifications. Requirements 5 years of experience in Construction and/or A/E firm project management Automotive experience – Assembly Plant and/or Powertrain/Unit Plant Cost estimating/scheduling Education: Engineering; Architectural; or Construction Management degree/ Skilled trades with supervisory (superintendent/project manager) experience Softwares: Microsoft Office Software – PowerPoint, Excel, Word Microsoft Project (if possible) AutoCAD (if possible)
