Decisive Communications, Inc. is a turn-key, solution based organization providing a full suite of services to the Telecommunications, Broadband & Wireless Industries.

The Coordinator 2 is responsible for determining the scope of business as usual and project work including gathering and reviewing a variety of data and utilizing company resources to set up jobs for success. The Coordinator 2 is also responsible for the layout of job costing and approach to receive the necessary approvals in order to meet the required Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ongoing management of the coaxial and fiber optic network (CWDM, DWDM and Ethernet) jobs, including installation, operations, and maintenance of the network equipment at facilities.

  • Coordinate outside and inside plant construction activities, including but not limited to: pre-construction job evaluation, point of contact communications, white lining of job site, aligning job expectations with contractors, costing of jobs and completing close out packages.

  • Assign jobs to employees, contractors, and vendors and follows up to verify work was completed and meets QC requirements

  • Accountable to ensure team is achieving on time completion of daily work requests, Emergency work, mark and locate tickets) and meeting metric goals in areas of provisioning intervals, mean time to complete (MTTC), and cost per unit (CPU).

  • Analyze and measure data to identify key trends in metrics.

  • Establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships with personnel at all organizational levels as well as other external contacts.

  • Responsible for maintenance of company property to include computer, laptop, vehicle and any tools that have been assigned by the company.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 2-3 years of related work experience

  • Completed a minimum of 90 days in performing the tasks of a Coordinator and has successfully demonstrated they can perform the function and duties of a Coordinator.

  • Ability to work within Remedy, Spatial, P2 and Watchtower to manage jobs and small projects

  • Able to successfully walk out jobs, provide as-builts and close out packages.

  • Ability to track permitting, locates and contract crews, receiving updates from the field daily.

  • Ability to manage financial aspects of construction jobs

  • Ability to communicate interdepartmentally and collaborate on jobs between business units.

  • Pro-actively seeks new opportunities to increase operational efficiency.

  • Proven strong oral and written communication skills and ability to successfully deliver presentations to executive level.

  • Possess strong organizational, time management and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, demands with competing priorities, all while making timely decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute short- and long-term objectives in a team environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Must be available for on-call work to support network emergencies

  • Ability to travel as required.

  • Must pass a background check and drug screen

  • Valid driver's license required
