Construction Assistant Project Manager

Job Title: Assistant Project ManagerJob Description Seeking a dynamic Assistant Project Manager to efficiently handle day-to-day project requirements and support Project Managers or Senior Project Managers with tasks including submittals, RFI's, change orders, and coordination with subcontractors or owners.

This role involves coordinating with on-site Superintendent staff regarding schedules and project progress, organizing documents in construction software, assisting with project drawing coordination, and leading or assisting job site meetings. The position requires traveling to job sites and managing comprehensive project schedules in MS Project. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Rosemont, Illinois.

Work Environment The role is based 80%-90% in a corporate office environment with a mid-sized team of 45 employees, fostering a 'family feel'. The position includes occasional job-site visits around the Greater Chicagoland area or around the US. Travel typically peaks at about 1 visit per week, with the possibility of same-day returns. The office setup includes cubicles for APM's/PE's/PM's and surrounding offices for Project Executives & Presidents/VP's.
