Job Description:

As a Tax Senior Staff your role will include identifying and implementing tax planning and consulting opportunities to our diverse client base. Working in a highly interactive team environment you will participate in the tax planning and consultation process for clients, delivering an outstanding client experience.

Researching client issues and regularly communicating findings with managers is a vital part of this role, therefore strong social skills are important. Mentoring Staff and interns will contribute to the continued success of the team. As a Senior Staff you will be an integral part of the Tax team delivering outstanding client service while integrating in a dynamic team environment. VIEW JOBS 3/23/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-06-21T00:00 Description The Legal Analyst supporting Real Estate Leasing will be accountable for reviewing, drafting and negotiating leases, amendments and other legal documents. The Legal Analyst will perform routine legal research as needed and provide legal support for special projects and assignments. This role is responsible for tracking critical date information related to enterprise store openings, closings and construction activities. This individual will interface with cross-functional partners in support of operational and strategic decisions. Responsibilities: * Draft and negotiate language related to landlord/developer or tenant lease forms * Draft and negotiate general contracts, lease amendments, renewals, termination agreements and/or rent relief agreements * Draft and negotiate estoppel certificates and subordination / non-disturbance agreements * Operate with a lens of understanding for business and legal concepts related to commercial leases * Review lease files to answer organizational business questions * Partner with various stakeholders throughout the organization including Real Estate, Store Design and Construction, Store Operations, etc. * Partner with outside counsel resources as needed and communicate in conjunction with organizational considerations * Mitigate risk by ensuring lawful compliance regarding real estate regulations and guidelines * Seek to interpret lawful principles in a manner that supports organizational goals and initiatives Qualifications * Communicates in a highly effective manner with the ability to interpret complex information * Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers * Demonstrates excellent organization, attention to detail, and tracking skills with the ability to work independently * Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional team members while maintaining accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced environment * Works collaboratively in a team-based environment * Conducts all work in an ethical, professional and confidential manner * Demonstrates and implements a continuous improvement mindset * Bachelor's degree with a preferred focus in Business * Paralegal certification required * 10+ years' paralegal experience in Real Estate and/or Leasing with a law firm and/or in-house counsel * Demonstrated experience in negotiation and drafting skills * Demonstrated experience in tracking critical dates and timelines to prepare, meet or exceed key milestones, those related to option exercises and termination rights. * Strong PC skills. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook. Experience with Access would be beneficial.
