Job Description Job Description Great opportunity for recent graduates in Construction Management who are looking to get some great experience in this field Lots of opportunities for growth and advancement with a well-established firm Job Summary Provide support to the project manager and superintendent by handling communication, planning, contract management, and reporting throughout the construction stages. This position provides field and/or office support, depending on experience and project needs, to ensure successful project execution.
Duties/Responsibilities: Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in developing schedules, budgets, and site logistics Set up and maintain project management tools, including Procore Read and interpret coordination drawings Review, log, and coordinate shop drawings, product data submittals, and other relevant documents Prepare, update, and maintain various document control logs (e.g., daily reports, submittals, RFIs, as-builts, change orders, testing, and inspection logs) Issue new drawings, approved submittals, RFI responses, and other project information to relevant parties Collect and process all project closeout documents, including warranties and as-builts Make updates to the project schedule and ensure timely delivery by suppliers and subcontractors Expedite project suppliers and subcontractors to meet project deadlines Monitor and maintain testing and inspection records, safety inspection logs, and accident reports Assist the Project Estimator in preparing bids Perform material takeoffs as assigned Prepare agendas, documents, meeting minutes, and action items for various meetings, including OAC, subcontractor coordination, safety, and staff meetings Participate in trainings and company meetings to support individual and company growth Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 500 documented hours of construction work with a state licensed general contractor, subcontractor, or construction management company. Skills: Ideal candidates are organized, flexible, and skilled in managing project requirements with a hands-on approach. Proficiency and/or exposure to P6, Timberline Estimating, Procore, Revit, and Bluebeam is also desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, engineers, and owners are important. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and passion for construction are key to success in this role.
