The Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Construction Administrative Assistant is a remote role where you are responsible for supporting all construction phases of projects by coordinating activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and facilitating effective communication. The Construction Administrative Assistant will help provide administrative and clerical support to various departments. Our ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a passion for administrative excellence/efficiency. Our ideal candidate will be someone who is a proactive problem solver, has great customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking skills, and ability to organize and prioritize workload. Must have a commitment to ensuring a high-quality work product, while being flexible, approachable and take initiative to get things done efficiently. Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of project proposals
Coordinate and schedule pre-construction meetings
Track and monitor project milestones and deadlines
Identify potential risk and issues during the pre-construction phase
Preparation and updating of various spreadsheets, service contracts, files, correspondences, and internal memorandums as directed
Processing credit card receipts and work orders daily
Document creation and completion
Additional administrative work as needed
Requirements and Skills
Strong knowledge of construction processes
Strong communication skills
Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
Must be experienced with Microsoft office software
High attention to detail, team mentality and a positive attitude.
Has leadership capabilities or would like to lead others in the future.
Experience with Salesforce preferred.
