Since 2004, Decisive Communications has been responsible for all aspects of Cable TV including but not limited to Aerial and Underground Construction, Fiber Restoration and Installation Services.

Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Construction Admin 1 is to provide support for complex communications product solutions (data, voice, IP, etc.) for Decisive Communications' customers. We are currently in need of a Construction Admin 1 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Construction Admin 1 will be responsible for managing incoming jobs, collaborating with Coordinators and ensuring jobs are completed within their Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review new job requirements and communicate any additional information requests through P2 Chatter.

  • Manage statuses and communication of job requirements in P2.

  • Enter costing into Remedy

  • Upload costing into P2 and verify the funding does not exceed P2 approved amount

  • Enter initial profile of jobs into Remedy

  • Maintain updates on job statuses throughout its life cycle.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Understanding of the fundamentals of Cable TV.

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize work effectively

  • Communicate effectively both written and verbally

  • Must pass a background check and drug screen

  • Valid driver's license strongly preferred

Education

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

VIEW JOBS 11/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-02-13T00:00 GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION During the construction lifecycle of an assigned loan portfolio, the CRE Construction Loan Admin I is responsible for all loan administration duties for each loan. The CRE Construction Loan Admin I is the primary point of contact for borrowers, lenders, and third-party vendors, to resolve construction loan-related questions and other issues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Obtain, coordinate, review, and track all documentation from the borrower and third-party vendors. This includes front end project analyses, inspections, draw request processing, budget oversight, monthly loan payments and contractual required documentation. 2. Regularly review, analyze, and process draw requests, budget reallocations, review progress inspection reports, and coordinate funding with internal departments. 3. Assemble and maintain construction loan documentation and files, collaborating with CRE Construction Specialists to ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory policies and procedures. 4. Monitor loan payments, tax payments, insurance policies, vendor invoices, and lien process to ensure proper and timely payment. 5. Review commitment letters, underwriting files, escrow analysis, closing statements, loan agreements, and pre and post-closing documents for accuracy. 6. Identify critical risks through careful analysis of submitted documentation through construction completion. 7. Prepare and distribute appropriate funds control and disbursement packages from vendors accords to applicable interdepartmental procedures. 8. Facilitate requests from loan officers, vendors, and project participants regarding status and schedule of all processes and site visits. 9. Responsible for all project file maintenance, including loan documentation management, imaging, and reporting. 10. Utilize reports to monitor and update project status in bank systems. 11. Serve as back-up for other CRE Loan Admins. 12. Participate in department wide events, projects, and initiatives as assigned. 13. Obtain exception approvals based on projects requests, legal requirements, and risk tolerance. 14. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. 15. Complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. 16. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 5 years related experience and/or training, and 12 to 18 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
