Consultants are seasoned, subject matter experts who apply specialized knowledge, typically as an individual contributor, in matters that require special interpretation or expertise. Incumbents use their discipline-specific and/or institutional knowledge to perform department activities. They participate in and/or lead critical, high-risk, complex initiatives, programs and projects, have frequent contact with internal and external business partners, facilitate/ influence strategic thinking and direction and influence peers and leaders across the organization to act on issues that have organization-wide impact. Incumbents may directly manage a small number of employees (two or less); the primary function of the role is consulting.

Provides consultative support to organization management within context of overall strategic objectives and broad policy; typically supports senior management.
Skilled in managing value based contracting efforts as they relate to strategy, negotiations and drafting contractual language terms, including setting boundaries for preferred, acceptable, discouraged, and unacceptable terms: able to properly input and identify any system support of contract execution
Work with other Network staff to implement episodes in the market
Synthesizes collected data/information and advises clients on options, risks, cost versus benefits and impacts on client's business processes, systems, employees, etc.
Has frequent contact with internal and external business partners to obtain and share information for influencing decisions, selling concepts, and/or providing advice and counsel that impacts business objectives.
Manages the interpretation of complex financial and analytic reports with proven ability to provide information to practice staff and practice physician leadership
Meets with Value Based Providers both in person and on the phone to share information on performance, opportunities for improvements, process optimization, quality metrics; and guides and mentors Providers through processes to improve. Performs supporting data analysis.
Experience providing process improvement recommendations to address opportunities found in analytic interpretations and monitors the outcomes
Develops process flows to support process and performance improvement.
Understands strategic direction of business unit and the organization.
Acts as communications lead for department. May develop communication messaging and presentations for presentation throughout the organization. Acts as spokesperson for leadership, as appropriate.
May oversee reporting, monitoring and evaluation activities. May process reports and package to share externally.
Support and participate in research and analysis to determine growth of episode bundle program; Perform supporting data analysis as necessary.
Builds strong relationships; is flexible/open-minded; solicits feedback and handles constructive criticism
May lead, coach and develop a small staff.
Occasional travel up to 25%
Required Work Experience
6 years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education. Experience Details:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
General Physical Demands
