The Connected Enterprise (CE) Solutions Consultant works in close collaboration with the (CE) Business Consultant to drive complex product, services, and solutions sales for CE opportunities. The Solutions Consultant will be responsible for translating technical requirements into specific products, applications, and services for complex engagements following a disciplined execution process.
The CE Solutions Consultant is expected to utilize his/ her technical, domain, and consulting expertise to effectively coordinate with multiple business units and stakeholders in order to deliver actionable roadmaps and proposals that lead to customer driven outcomes. Daily activities will include customer workshops, assessments, defining solutions, quantifying solution ROI, and coordination with other teams to propose and present a winning outcome to our customers.
1.Ability to co-lead the CE Sales Engagement Process (along with a CE Business Consultant) including:
a. Executes a Gemba Walk and analyses customer data and data hierarchy in order to understand and document a customer's process and current performance.
b. Execute assessments and workshops with customers in order to drive gather required information to assess current state and future needs focused on software stack and IT network performance and infrastructure.
c. Provide the technical direction to translate the client's strategic direction and business objectives into holistic digital solutions that are aligned with RA's capabilities for solving those needs.
d. Provide the technical direction to co-develop road maps with the customer Executive team so they can visualize how they will improve their performance with associated cost and financial benefits.
2.Drives Internal Solution for customer
a. Assist in the development of the value proposition including project scope and ROI analysis.
b. Develop required system architecture, software, and high level implementation strategies in order to create rough order of magnitude pricing, timelines, and ultimately a customer proposal document. This role will collaborate closely with multiple business units along with project and proposal resources.
c. Serve as primary technical liaison between RA sales teams, proposal teams, program management, and appropriate business units to insure efficient and effective communications ROM business consulting activities.
d. Ability to present the proposed solution to customers along with the recommended execution strategy and timeline.
3.Technical Consulting Skills including:
a. Strong active listening skills with the ability to translate feedback into RA delivered products, services, and solutions.
b. Strong technical background of Manufacturing Execution Software solutions and implementation strategies, basic network infrastructure skills, and understanding of IT and Operations Technology convergence.
c. Detail oriented with the ability to summarize, document, and communicate the outcomes and next steps.
d. Strong communication and collaboration skills a must. This role will work closely with multiple groups and business units.
e. Deep technical knowledge on RA CE offerings including architectural and high level implementation knowledge.
f. Ability to clearly map customer problems to solution offerings as well as articulate the value and ROI associated to the offerings.
4.Follow the disciplined CE engagement process leveraging existing tools and technology to provide consistent and repeatable outcomes. Provide ongoing feedback to the process teams in order to ensure continuous improvement and long term scalability.
5.Share best practices with product and marketing organization to achieve CE revenue targets for Business Units or Geography
