Configuration Specialists

Position Summary

The Configuration Specialist is responsible for implementing and maintaining all platform features in FireLight, Hexure's SaaS electronic fulfillment solution. This role ensures solution compatibility and sustainability, applying both template and custom workflows to financial product applications to guarantee completeness and compliance. Involvement spans the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to successful project implementation, including providing Tier 2 production support from a FireLight configuration perspective.

Deliverables and Performance Measures:

• Ensure solution compatibility with both internal and external systems

• Ensure solution sustainability by utilizing best practices and standards

• Create business rules, via FireLight proprietary XML codebase, to drive the user experience when completing the applications electronically based on customer requirements

• Maintain and update FireLight Admin features including but not limited to form consumption, wizard design, product management, role codes, review queues, environment configurations and system utilities.

• Support customer deployments, delivery timeline analysis, and version control.

• Monitor issues tracking software via the JIRA tracking software to address issues submitted by internal and external test teams in a timely manner

• Perform unit testing and assist the team with end-user scenario testing to ensure the application/product works as specified

• Participate in team and project meetings by preparing and communicating progress on work assignments

• Work cooperatively with other specialists and global teams

• Triage client support tickets requiring basic technical knowledge of the architecture of the supported system

• Meet Utilization and productivity targets

• Meet project deadlines and established KPIs

• Meet with customers, via video meeting software such as Teams, to analyze their needs and discuss projects

• Interpret inbound data from external systems, typically in JSON format

What will make you successful:

• 1 - 3 years' experience in a technical field

• High degree of proficiency in Web and Desktop applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Must have demonstrated experience in XML data structures, including editing and troubleshooting XML documents and schemas, as well as integrating XML with various software applications.

• Proficient in English with good written and oral communication skills

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision or as a part of a team

• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and priorities

• Demonstrate effective decision-making and problem-solving skills; attention to detail and accuracy is mandatory

• Self-motivated, not afraid to seek out knowledge and stay abreast of new technology trends

• Understand the importance of following procedures currently in place

• Financial services industry and FireLight experience is a strong plus

Expected hours of Work:

This is a full-time position with regular office hours Monday through Friday.
