Configuration Manager - Ts/Sci - Hybrid

Zachary Piper Solutions is actively seeking a highly skilled Configuration Manager to work in San Diego, CA to oversee configuration management of system and software applications across development environments.

Location:

• San Diego, California (HYBRID - 2 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee configuration management of system and software applications across development environments and fielded systems for multiple baselines.

• Establish and maintain Configuration Management (CM) processes, continuously enhancing them in alignment with project requirements.

• Collaborate with vendors to streamline software deliveries into a CI/CD pipeline within a container-based environment.

• Review deliveries from external partners, ensuring compliance with software, test data, and documentation requirements.

• Generate system baseline media to facilitate JFN Node installations.

• Document and track system component deployment processes, including submission, recording, and tracking of system change requests.

• Utilize configuration management tools such as Artifactory, Jira, Confluence, Git/Version Control, or similar technologies.

• Champion DevSecOps automation and its role in supporting a responsive CI/CD pipeline.

• Identify opportunities for building automation and design action plans to address CI/CD platform/tools/solutions' challenges.

• Enhance system dashboards to improve system maintainability and status awareness.

Required Skills:

• US Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI Clearance.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

• Five (5) or more years of experience managing hardware and software components in various System Environments to maintain a known configuration managed posture.

• Familiarity with US Navy and other DoD Enterprise and Experimental C5I systems and Networks (e.g., CANES, DCGS-N, NIWC PACIFC RDT&E).

• Strong attention to detail, exceptional time management, and communication skills.

• Excellent writing skills for preparing process documentation, deliverables, and other work products.

• Self-starter with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

• Willingness to work onsite in a classified environment; remote work supported only in limited capacity and with sponsor approval.

• Availability for travel in support of distant end installations or break-fix actions, potentially on short notice.

Compensation:

• Competitive Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000, based on your experience and skills.
