Configuration Management Analyst (Part-Time)

Apogee is seeking Part-Time, remote Configuration and Data Manager to work with the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Special Operations Forces (ISR & SOF) Directorate located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB).

What you will be doing:

• Support the development and integration of LAA configuration management and technical data management processes into acquisition, sustainment, and contracting strategies and supporting documentation.

• Review and evaluate OEM proposals and reports for configuration status accounting of assigned systems/subsystem(s) and compliance with Government technical data requirements.

• Plan or implement Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) and confirm the data adequacy used to support these audits.

• Participate in Government review/meetings/working groups as applicable and in Government and industry teams for the resolution of complex configuration management issues.

• Review OEM-delivered programmatic data (e.g., engineering drawings, performance specifications, hardware and software configuration documentation, interface control documents, and commercial item descriptions/specifications) to ensure that deliverables meet technical and programmatic requirements.

• Perform configuration management/data management functions to include:

• Configuration Identification (Computer Program Identification Numbering (CPIN)

• Configuration Items (CIs), Common Systems Configuration Engineering (CSCE)

• Generation Receiving Integrated Tracked System (GRITS), Configuration Control (CCPs), Request for Deviation (RFDs)

• Configuration Audits and Program Reviews (System Verification Reviews (SVRs)

• Configuration Status Accounting, and Data Management (DIDs, CDRLs, Engineering Data Management (EDM), DR, Deviations/Waivers, Material Improvement Program (MIP) Review Board.

• Prepare and submit product data or perform other configuration management activities as required, to include support for CCB Charter development and the administration of CCB activities.

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance

Education: High School

Years of experience: Minimum of 11 years directly related experience, with 3 years supporting the DoD to include:

• Planning and implementing Functional Configuration Audits

• Review and analysis of programmatic data such as engineering documents, performance specifications, hardware/software configuration documents, interface control documents, and others.

• Experience with Data management (DIDs, CDRLs, Engineering Data Management (EDM), DR,

Deviations/Waivers, Material Improvement Program (MIP) Review Board.

Preferred Experience:

• Possess a working knowledge of the MEARS Configuration Management tool.

• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Benefits:

• This position is classified as part-time, non-exempt, and will be paid hourly. The pay range for this position is $35/hr - $41/hr per year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. Base pay information is based on market location.

Regular part-time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis.
