In this role, you will configure client systems and data manipulation to support client implementation. This includes coordinating testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, and support to ensure smooth, stable and timely implementation of technology solutions. Proficiency in Excel and effective communication skills are required.

The Role

As a Configuration Analyst, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of our Bright Choices Exchange portal for clients and their employees.

Responsibilities Include

  • Configure our proprietary software platforms for initial client implementation on our consumer-centric benefits program.

  • Process client configuration changes in our software for clients on as-needed basis, for example, at the renewal of client benefit plans.

  • Assist in troubleshooting enrollment-related technology issues.

  • Identify process improvements, recommend solutions, implement changes and sustain results.

  • Consult with sales and service staff on portal capabilities.

  • Must have the ability to multi-task, displaying the capability to work with multiple client deliverables (Project Management) within agreed upon deadlines

  • Generate and analyze reports for management and service teams.

  • Augment internal customer service tip sheets/quick reference material.

  • Attend all mandatory in-service training and regularly attend team meetings.

  • Review requests consultatively guide internal and external customers on the best way to accomplish a task or implement a requirement

  • Use web-based software applications and Microsoft Office productivity tools, i.e. Excel, Word, and Access

  • Ability to understand high level impact and properly facilitate communication across multiple departments to ensure success

The Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college; degree/concentration in math, engineering, quantitative economics, computer science, Finance, Management Information Systems, or Business preferred, equivalent experience would be considered.

  • Proficiency in web-based software applications and Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel

  • Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills

  • Project Management skills are desired, but certifications are not required

  • Transactional SQL/Relational database experience preferred, but not required

  • Domain expertise in health insurance, benefits administration, human resources, banking, or back office functions preferred, but not required

  • Excellent trouble-shooting skills to define, measure, analyze, implement, and control results

Position Summary: The Systems Configuration Analyst III role is considered a subject matter expert in multiple areas of core system configuration and will independently gather requirements to facilitate specified core system changes as required. This individual will support and guide junior level System Configuration Analysts as part of ongoing training and development. System Analyst III will work collaboratively with business partners to define and continuously improve business process models while adhering to established software development lifecycle best practices. Responsibilities: * Analyze new configuration and changes to existing configuration to define the effect on the end product design and functionality and perform smoke test validation in the core Facets system. * Responsible for making online and ad-hoc configuration changes within Facets and is also considered a point person for multiple core systems applications and their respective configuration functionality as well as complex configuration changes related to projects, new lines of business, regulatory mandates, etc. * Act as liaison with specified user areas and confer with users to define business requirements and processes for project deployment and business supporting tasks. * Conduct ongoing assessment of client needs in order to ensure that needs have been identified and that solutions have been developed to address these needs. * Work collaboratively with resources across the organization to provide continuous mission critical support while building and maintaining client relationships. * Collect, analyze, and summarize data in order to deliver information to customers and make recommendations. Perform validation activities to ensure results meet customer expectations. * Coordinate the testing and implementation of systems and processes, under the direction of more senior personnel, in order to meet operational expectations and minimize application defects. * Determine and analyze customer requirements, use system data, and construct queries in order to produce business and scientific reports as required. * Job performance requires fulfilling other incidental or related duties as assigned, assisting and training others, and performing duties of higher rated positions from time to time for developmental purposes. * Able to demonstrate consistency of words and actions; protect confidential information; practice what he/she preaches; do what is right even when no one is watching; demonstrate sound business ethics; consistently comply with organizational values. * Able to be thorough and accurate when working with assembling, processing, or providing detailed information; track details even when under pressure. * Able to anticipate and respond to customer's needs, concerns, or questions in order to meet or exceed their expectations; help evaluate needs and options; show care and concern to demonstrate customer importance and value.
