We are currently seeking a Configuration Analyst III to join our team.

Configuration Analyst\ III who works with a cross-functional team to review, analyze, create, track, edit, mentor, train, and process for release product/project documentation and Product Lifecycle Management change orders, i.e. ECO, engineering change order, deviations, ECR, engineering change request, MCO manufacturing change order, etc. and other related assignments per CM processes. Assist with training and mentoring various functional members and support/lead process improvement efforts (metrics, Kaizens, etc.) Participates and conducts periodic audits on the conformance to CM practices and develop and deploy necessary corrective actions.

Required Qualifications & Background

  • US Citizenship or US permanent resident (Green Card Holder) due to ITAR

  • 5+ years of experience in Configuration Management.

  • Certified in Configuration Management preferred

  • Strong user of MS Office suite products

  • Complete understanding of bill-of-materials, design drawings, technical data packages, and overall product development framework/process flow.

  • Excellent understanding of configuration management industry standards (ANSI-EIA, MIL, etc.)

  • Experience with Solidworks EPDM a plus.

  • Experience with Agile PLM a plus.

  • A college degree preferred

Job Duties and Responsibilities * Primary responsibility will be to test/assemble Small Unmanned Arial System products in our TMS/TUAS manufacturing facility following released engineering drawings and assembly instructions using our work order system. * Mechanical assembly of subassemblies using hand and/or power tools * Final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles. * Testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies and final assemblies * Works with other Production Technicians and Engineering to correct and improve upon any documents related to the assembly process at the required high quality standard. * Responsible for ensuring that work order protocols are followed and that work order paperwork is completed as the work is performed. * May also be tasked with: * Training other technicians to build a product or follow an established assembly process * Conducting in- process quality checks to ensure that items built are to established high quality standards * Working with manufacturing engineers to improve assembly efficiency, improve product quality, reduce manufacturing costs and validate released assembly/ fabrication documentation. Required Qualifications and Background * High School diploma or equivalent is desirable. Any electronics education or solder certification is a real plus. * Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment in either electronics or electro-mechanical assembly and test. * Versed in Lean Manufacturing methodologies. (5S, visual management, VSM, single-piece flow, Kaizen events with the necessary skills to be a part of a team dedicated to Continuous Process Improvement Initiatives (not required, but a plus). * Experience with hand tools, including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools and air tools is required. * Familiarity with Safety and ESD practices is a plus * Ability to read blueprints and schematics is desired. * Must be able to work in a team environment * Must be to take responsibility for quality of work performed * Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision * Must have basic computer operation skills. * Must have good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with employees in the Company. * Must have ability to analyze and solve problems.
