Responsibilities

Assist in securing business by conducting client site visits with Group Sales Manager, service catering business, manage rooming lists, assist with transportation needs and off-site activity requests from the Group Sales Markets, while maintaining FS standards and maximizing revenue/profit potential. Ability to create an event directly from client contracts while establishing business and internal relationships. This role has direct contact with guests and as such good communication skills are a necessity. This position does require an applicant with a flexible schedule, able to work morning/afternoon/evening shifts, weekends, and holidays. Schedule is primarily Monday Friday with business levels dictating evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or business

  • Two to four years of previous catering and/or banquet assistant manager/captain experience

  • Ability to multitask and work long irregular hours, weekends and evenings

  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
