The AV Analyst/Coordinator will:

  • Work very closely with vendors, project managers and end users to answer AV related questions concerning conference room installations.

  • Document room requirements and assist with room design decisions.

  • Coordinate schedules and multitask effectively while documenting approved designs and installation tasks.

  • Maintain conference room checklists, validation scope.

  • Coordinate testing, validation and implementation with vendors and local support staff.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in a support role

  • Experience with Crestron or Cisco teleconference equipment strongly preferred

  • Corp to corp candidates will not be considered

  • Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)

  • Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer

With over 100 employees, the department strives, within available resources, to provide adequate nutrition to clients based on medical, spiritual, ethnic, cultural, and mental health needs. Description of Job The position is responsible for management of food service operations in the Dining Rooms. The position directly supervises Dining Services personnel, engaged in food production and re-thermalization, meal service and sanitation. Tasks include scheduling, timekeeping, training unit personnel, coaching, conflict management, progressive discipline, employee appraisals, and safety and security management. The position is responsible for requisitioning foodservice equipment and supplies needed for dining rooms; develops and updates dining room policies and procedures, and controlling costs of food and supplies used in each dining room. Duties: * Facilitates and encourages unit personnel to make individual commitments to accomplishing the departments mission through task delineation, developing work schedules, adapting the unit structure to change, implementing policies and procedures, employee appreciation/recognition programs and manages personnel (i.e., orient, train, coach, counsel, motivate, keep current chronological records, performance planning/appraisal). Monitors employees' time and schedules unit personnel as needed. Develops in-service for food safety, sanitation, and operation of equipment and presents to Dining Room staff. Supervises employees in dining rooms and oversees food preparation methods, product quality, and portion control in producing quantities sufficient to meet demand while minimizing leftovers to control food costs. Actively involved in the recruitment of dining services personnel by participating in Subject Matter Expert (SME) panels and interviewing process, recommend hire, promotion or transfer of positions. Completes supervisory section of IOJ reports and Incident Reporting form in a timely manner. * Manages food service operation in dining rooms by directing food service staff, requisitioning foodservice equipment and supplies, and developing, implementing and updating dining room policies and procedures. Monitors dining room budget, and use of food items and supplies in dining rooms to control costs. Coordinates development of the weekly relief schedule with Staffing Coordinators and other Managers. Resolves informal patient's grievances regarding meal service. Completes maintenance or housekeeping requests to repair or clean equipment in dining rooms. Ensures compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Standards of Practice (SOPs). Implements corrective action plans as a result of deficiency noted by the surveyor. Participates in hospital committees and provide written response to Food Service issues raised. * Assures the service of high-quality food to patients by conducting routine quality assurance checks and instruction of employees on cooking procedures, portion control, food appearance, diet accuracy and appropriate customer relations/client satisfaction, and treatment of patients. Surveys client input to enhance food service operations. Enforces compliance with the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) and Joint Commission regarding sanitation and food safety. Completes dining room tours with surveyors and resolves deficiencies cited by regulatory agencies. Ensures compliance with Life Safety Codes, Joint Commission standards, and hospital policies through implementing policies at the unit level, training unit personnel in the operation of equipment; conducts hazard surveillance inspections and equipment maintenance inspections. Ensures security of department premises through monitoring knife/utensil count records and adherence to key, secured areas, and contraband policies. Completes supervisory section of IOJ reports and Incident Reporting form in a timely manner. * Seeks opportunities for professional development and managerial proficiency through attending meetings, in-services, and skills development workshops, perusing professional literature and actively participating in professional organizations. Maintains competency – attends required hospital and departmental training. * Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Appointing Authority Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a field of study related to the work assignment. * One year of professional experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position.
