The Civil Health Solutions Operation is currently seeking a Conference Coordinator to support a healthcare contract in Frederick.
The candidate will provide meeting coordination in support of the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs. Approximately 35 meetings a year are held a year, with half of these being online and half in the Frederick, MD/Baltimore, MD/Washington, DC area.
The meeting coordinator will coordinate internal aspects of our review meetings throughout the meeting planning lifecycle. This includes scheduling staff to support meetings, coordinating hardware, organizing contingency planning, and curating deliverables.
The meeting coordinator will also attend and participate in the meetings providing technical support as needed. The meeting coordinator will work closely with approximately 10 task leaders, each responsible for the outcomes of one or more meetings, and assist in quality assurance, planning, scheduling, and documentation. The meeting coordinator will also be responsible for curating and documenting all meeting materials and products delivered to the customer.
Successful candidate must demonstrate excellent organizational skills and capable of exercising independent judgment as well as working with groups. Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to converse well with all levels of personnel, effective organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, ability to develop strategies and action plans, aptitude to implement goals and objectives, and ability to work on multiple events simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude, high level of accuracy, and team spirit are all requirements of this position.
Associates Degree and 2 years of experience or 5 years experience with no degree.
Proficiency with Microsoft's Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint, particularly with mail merge, style sheet management, and format management
US Citizen with the ability to obtain an ADP II Clearance.
