First Eagle is looking for a Conference and Event Manager to manage and support the conference, due diligence and client event activities for the Retail Distribution team. Responsibilities and qualifications include:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all oversight, coordination and management related to regional and national conferences

  • Create and maintain budgets as well as prepare, reconcile and process expenses and invoices post conference

  • Manage all marketing collateral and promotional materials for events

  • Manage all planning and logistics for First Eagle third-party Due Diligence meetings

  • Work in tandem with Marketing team to create dedicated event collateral, on-line registration and management of events

  • Coordinate all client events and dinners involving First Eagle Fund Sales team, regional wholesalers and Portfolio Managers

  • Assist the National Accounts team with conference scheduling, budgeting and shipments

  • Partner with National Accounts team as well as clients on required approvals and adhere to pre and post event protocols

  • Develop and maintain key relationships with hospitality and restaurant companies across the country

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an event planning, roadshow coordination or corporate access role, preferably with an investment management firm

  • Undergraduate degree preferred

  • Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with CVENT is a plus

  • Strong computer skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Solutions and client-service oriented with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service; approachable with the ability to develop trusting relationships

  • High energy level

  • Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented

  • Must possess a team focused attitude with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others

  • Demonstrates willingness to take on additional responsibilities and new projects

  • Ability to accomplish routine and habitual tasks with care and attention to detail

  • Hands-on problem solver and team player
