The primary responsibility of this position is to move between the collection and inbound customer service positions depending on the needs of the business. The role of inbound servicing requires the agent to provide friendly, professional and efficient service to all internal and external inbound SVO Management, Inc. telephone customers or to direct them to the proper person / department able to assist them as well as provide an inbound collection position for SVO Management, Inc. The collections position requires the agent to collect on delinquent accounts using predictive dialer technology contacting owners and using strong negotiation skills to bring the account current or to a conclusion if deemed uncollectible. Providing world class customer service while handling owner requests and concerns in a professional and concise manner.
Work all accounts using the predictive dialer system contacting owners to bring all delinquent balances current in a professional manner representing VSE in all communications both verbally and written. Using world class customer service skills to provide complete service when handling owner requests as required to meet the one resolution expectations.
The associate works towards the objective of answering all inbound calls and provides "World Class" service to VSE owners, handling general questions and payment processing and directing calls to the departments as needed.
Sends all on-line Automatic Credit Card Program and transaction histories as requested.
Performs additional tasks assigned by VSE Portfolio Services Management.
Follows all department policies and procedures as outlined in the Department Training Manual for VSE. Adheres to all compliance requirements, Federal, State, and Local laws which includes, but is not limited to, PCI (Payment Card Industry), CISP (Customer Information Security Policy), and FDCPA (Fair Credit Collection Practices Act), as well as any additional regulations.
Participates in on-going training to improve technical and soft skills, enhance knowledge of products and company initiatives. Attends department staff meetings as scheduled.
Minimum 2 years customer service experience in a call center with a Financial or Vacation Ownership operations background. Consistent work history and flexible schedule.
Must demonstrate exceptional telephone etiquette at all times. Ability to communicate verbally and in written form. Excellent data entry, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills.
