Knife River has an immediate opening for a Concrete Batch Plant Operator/Plant Supervisor in Portland (Linnton area), Oregon. We offer competitive wages with a full benefits package.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Batch ready mix concrete via computer batch plant control systems.
Safely perform all the duties associated with batching concrete while actively supporting and participating in current safety program.
Effective supervision of Ready Mix Drivers at site location.
Batch plant/site maintenance including all environmental reporting.
Maintain raw material inventories.
Must be able to operate loader and skid steer.
Must have a positive attitude.
Work hours will vary and may require occasional nights and weekend work.
Must be able to work overtime hours if needed.
Need to have basic computer and math skills.
Must be able to maintain workflow in area of responsibility.
Must be able to handle breakdowns and difficult situations.
Knowledge of local area and market helpful.
Previous ready mix experienced preferred.
