Concrete Assistant Crew Leader

Our Gulfport, MS team is seeking a Concrete Assistant Crew Leader. Our next colleague will have a full time & permanent position and you will be responsible for concrete forming & finishing while repairing catch basins, curbs and gutters.

The day-to-day

• Assist crew leader in laying brick, finishing concrete, and repairing catch basins, curbs, and gutters;

• Perform routine construction and maintenance tasks;

• Operate equipment as needed;

• Complete reports as required;

• Ensure all daily operations are conducted safely and efficiently.

The skills we are looking for

• Valid driver's license and high school diploma/GED;

• Knowledge of proper concrete techniques;

• Proficiency in operating concrete mixer, chop saw, etc.;

• Physical strength and agility for heavy manual labor in diverse weather conditions;

• Strong oral and written communication skills;

• Ability to communicate effectively with the public, team members, and supervisors.

The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
