Job Description Job Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Concierge in the bustling hospitality industry of San Francisco, California. As a Concierge, you will be pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: • Provide clerical support to the hospitality team • Act as the first point of contact for guests, answering inquiries and providing information • Coordinate guest services such as transportation, dining reservations, and local attractions • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local events and venues to provide accurate information to guests • Utilize 10-key accounting skills to manage financial transactions • Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly addressing issues or concerns • Monitor and maintain an organized front desk area • Facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests • Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure all guest needs are met • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry. • Proficiency in 10-Key Accounting is essential. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations with grace. • Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and other points of interest. • Must be customer service oriented with a positive, friendly attitude. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet. • Proficiency in using computer systems and software for tasks such as email, managing reservations, and data entry. • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds. • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
