Job Summary

Complete final breakdown of function, by cleaning the room, and cleaning and returning equipment to its proper location. Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, locking doors, breaking down goods, etc.

Set up, stock, and maintain work areas. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas. Transport dirty linen to correct area to be cleaned, separate napkins from tablecloths, and restock linen shelves with clean linens.

Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures. Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.

Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support team to reach common goals.

Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds.

Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e. g., small print). Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps. Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.

Speak with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

VIEW JOBS 11/10/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-08T00:00 Description The Anaheim Convention Center (ACC) reigns as the largest exhibit facility on the West Coast, having hosted such large, well-attended events as the Winter NAMM Show, Disney's D23 Expo and Citrix Synergy. Originally opened in 1967, the ACC currently spans 53 acres and offers 1.6 million square feet of function space and many dynamic features. The ACC completed its seventh expansion in the Fall of 2017, providing an additional 200,000 square feet of flexible meeting space to our guests. Under minimal supervision, direct vehicles to the proper parking area. Essential Functions * Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and courteous manner. * Direct guests to parking spaces. * Answer questions regarding parking procedures and event information. * Report unauthorized vehicles entering restricted areas. * Perform related duties and responsibilities as required. Qualifications * Knowledge of principles and processes of providing customer service. * Ability to communicate orally and deal effectively and diplomatically with the public, supervisors and fellow employees. * Stand and walk for extended periods of time. * Work in inclement weather. * Be available to permit scheduling during weekdays, weekends, early mornings and holidays as assigned. * Must be 18 years old or posse a High School Diploma/GED. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: * Prior experience in a parking lot preferred. * Prior experience in Customer Service.
