Nature of Work
Under general direction of the Park Manager or Aquatic Facilities Manager, oversees operation, management and administration of food and beverage concessions at the Multi-Sports Complex or Electric City Water Park.
Essential Functions of Work
Determines, assigns and supervises employees.
Develops, maintains and solicits an inventory of food products and conducts reorders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies are consistently available.
Counts and records all concession sales; prepares money for deposit; and prepares reports that include total sales activities.
Determines and ensures that all concession equipment is regularly maintained so that equipment malfunctions are minimized.
Directs staff in the preparation of food to ensure all customer orders are accurately processed.
Develops schedules and ensure adequate staff for daily operations, rentals and special events.
Assures that all equipment and facility is clean to City County Health Department standards.
Education and Experience
Supervisory experience.
Food Service experience.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Employee must possess or have the ability to obtain valid Montana driver's license.
Must become Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) certified within 30 days of employment if working at Multi-sports Complex.
Must be 18 years of age or older if working at Multi-sports Complex (in compliance with Child Labor Laws-equipment required to operate and alcohol sales).
Requirements of Work
Possesses an understanding of public health laws and licensing regarding commercial food service.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates, other employees, supervisors, vendors and the general public.
Ability to assign and direct the work of other employees.

This position directs the work of the concession staff.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, employees are exposed to cooking hazards from grills, cookers, and microwaves and to weather conditions such as heat, cold, wind and rain.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, crawl, twist, reach, ride and perform similar body movements. Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time; the possession of hand/eye coordination sufficient to operate a computer, cash register, food preparation utensils and equipment, and a motor vehicle; the ability to talkand hear in person or by telephone; and the ability to see and read instructions and reports.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
The work schedule varies including evenings and weekends. This position is a non-exempt and eligible for overtime. Any overtime must be authorized prior to working.
TRAVEL
Travel is primarily local during the business day. Occasional travel may be required to attend off-site training and educational opportunities.
