Job Description

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $87,500 USD annual.

Reporting to the Creative Director, we are looking for a Conceptual, Social-First Writer who is conceptually minded and social-first in your approach, coming from a background of creating organic social content that achieved high engagement and are literate in social platforms and execution. You'll work on some of the world's biggest brands to create big, bold, inspiring work that sets hearts and feeds on fire.

Responsibilities:

• Produce fast out-of-the-box ideas and concept everything from brand campaigns, to a content series, to a clever reactive post.

• Brainstorm / spar with clients and team members daily, delivering ideas on the spot, expressing your ideas with conviction.

• Take briefs and quickly spin insightful ideas from it, bringing your own creative insights.

• Understand the importance of a great, unexpected idea in order for organic content to create engagement for both large, top-level campaign ideas and tactical projects.

• Brainstorm across a full suite of social content: static assets, short and longform video (Reels, TikTok and longer scripted pieces), GIPHY stickers, GIFs, memes.

• Develop projects that move fame for clients and create campaigns and write social posts that cut through the clutter in culture.

• Partner with the Creative Director, Creative VP and ECD to review work, consider feedback and action direction across the team.

• collaborate with a DP, editor, VFX, VO record, colorist.

Qualifications

• 4+ years writers room experience / creative agency experience

• You've got copywriting experience creating world-class, award-winning, social-first work for a range of world-leading brands and winning pitches.

• You have some experience in production, post production and the world of shoots.

• Previous success holding your own in a 'brainstorm' or 'newsroom' style environment where you ideated based on cultural trends.

• Must understand storytelling but know the importance of rooting the concept in a big idea.

• Personal interest and passion in entertainment, specifically TV and films.

• You understand creator culture in social media.
