Computer Vision Engineer -TS/SCI Clearance Required

US Citizenship is required due to security clearance requirements.

Currently, we are seeking mid to senior level computer vision engineers with experience in one or more of the following areas:

Computer vision
Pattern recognition
Algorithm development
Machine learning
Feature detection and estimation
Image processing
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)

If you are successful, you will work side by side with the brightest engineering minds in order to develop cutting edge image processing software that operates with AI/Machine Learning capabilities.

You'll have the opportunity to support a wide range of programs that include a combination of new concept/product R&D, development of software products that will perform successfully in our customer's environment, along with leading and mentoring teams as needed.

Position Requirements

United States Citizenship - all applicants must be eligible for a US Government security clearance of Top Secret or greater. US Citizenship is a requirement for this clearance.
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study.Advanced degrees are welcome.
Programming skills Python or other OO language (Python preferred)
Software and algorithm development experience
Experience and success with developing computer visions software applications from concept through production
Knowledge of various imaging systems (i.e. HSI, EO, Radar, IR, LIDAR, SAR) and other SIGINT principles
Ability to provide advanced scientific and quantitative analysis in processing and analyzing spectral imagery through the use of image and signal processing methods
Familiarity with developing on a Unix (Ubuntu Linux) platform

The candidate will interact with members of intrusion analysis, incident response, vulnerability assessment, external assessment, and cyber threat analysis teams to support the capabilities of the organization and provide effective services to its subscribers.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>First-level/follow-on intrusion incident analysis</li><li>Incident, event, and mission impact determination / escalation / prioritization.</li><li>Data entry into incident management and tracking database</li><li>Coordinating incident and event feedback to customers.</li><li>Customer Support Desk operations.</li><li>Supporting IA Ops reviews, assessments, exercises, and operations surges.</li><li>Incident-event-network outage correlation.</li><li>Anti-virus software support - Assisting with download, setup and configuration errors.</li><li>Coordinating between Theater CND teams, other Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERT), Global, Joint or Theater Command and Control Centers, and Service Theater CERTs.</li></ul>Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in a computer science, electrical engineering, or similarly related technical discipline + 5 years of experience in a technical environment, or Master's Degree + 2 years' experience, or relevant certification+ 10 years' experience, two years of which shall be with an accredited Computer Network Defense Service Provider or equivalent.</li><li>Licenses/Certification: DOD 8570.01M CND Analyst or CND Incident Responder (Security+CE minimum to start). Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) will be required within 4 months of start date.</li><li>Knowledge of security concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.), well-known ports (DNS, SMTP, FTP, LDAP, etc.), processes, architectures, and tools (authentication and access control technologies, intrusion detection, network traffic analysis, SIM technology, incident handling, media/malware analysis, etc.).</li><li>Experience with analyzing network traffic for suspicious and malicious activity using tools such as Wireshark (or equivalent) for packet capture analysis and the Carnegie-Mellon SiLK suite for flow data analysis.</li><li>Experience with incident/event correlation tools such as ArcSight.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Scripting Language (one or more of the following): Perl / Python / BASH.</li><li>Current knowledge of CYBERCOM CNDSP policies and procedures</li><li>Knowledge of Snort intrusion detection signatures.</li></ul>Security Clearance Requirements:<ul><li>Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS clearance with SSBI Investigation (or TS/SCI).
