You will join a team building sports tracking data software. We create tools that help teams win, making data and video easily accessible and actionable.
You will create automatically augmented video and interactive, personalized, OTT experiences.
We are at the forefront of computer vision, machine learning, big data, augmented reality, and product design.
You will develop computer vision and deep learning technologies for player tracking and broadcast solutions.

Design, prototype, implement and evaluate computer vision algorithms in Python and modern C++.
Leverage Amazon Web Services (EC2 and S3) to run algorithms on large number of servers in the cloud, to analyze sport matches from our installations for diverse sports (basketball, football, ice-hockey, etc.).
Train computer vision algorithms using our labeled data sets of sports videos, updated daily by our operators.
Develop readable, maintainable and efficient code and contribute to Git repositories.
Review code of other engineers and contribute to the companys engineering good practices.
Keep up with the latest innovation and techniques by attending international computer vision conferences, such as ICCV or CVPR, and by discussing papers every two weeks.
Act as a mentor for interns.

Must Have Skillsets:
Advanced level in Python or modern C++ with exposure to functional & object-oriented programming paradigms
General knowledge of most common computer vision and/or machine learning algorithms
Experience in end-to-end solutions for computer vision and machine learning, from specification to performance evaluation
Strong software engineering background: modern software development practices and tools, concurrent and distributed programming, operating systems, computer networks, database systems
High performance computing, GPU computing.
Exposure to real-time systems an asset
Excited about team sports, both as a player and as a fan an asset

Frameworks: OpenCV3, CUDA, FFmpeg, Tensorflow, NumPy, scikit-learn
Code base:
Git with GitLab
Machine learning: deep neural networks

We are looking for a Computer Vision Software Engineer to join our growing Additive Manufacturing team in Los Angeles. As a Computer Vision Software Engineer, you will be developing novel computer vision applications to help us reach fully autonomous 3D printing. You will be reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, Jordan Noone. The Mission/Outcomes and Objectives: To support our mission to reimagine the way rockets are built and flown, as a Computer Vision Software Engineer, you will be working closely with our Additive Manufacturing team in order to create applications that will run our welding processes autonomously. This means that you will be implementing Computer Vision applications that run in real time—having the elements of image segmentation, object recognition, object pose detection, anomaly detection, sizing, and more. In addition to the above, you will also be making key decisions in evaluating the application of deep learning vs traditional learning. The key outcome of someone in this role is to significantly increase our autonomous 3D printing capabilities. Candidate Profile: To be successful in this role, you should thrive in ambiguity and you are able to drive your projects to completion. Previous work experience at a company where you successfully implemented a Computer Vision application that runs in real time is preferred. On day one, you should already know programming languages such as Python and/or C++, along with libraries such as OpenCV. Minimum Required Skills and Competencies * Bachelor's in Electrical Engineer, Computer Science, or other related engineering field and 5+ years of experience successfully implementing CV applications that run in real-time OR an Master's degree and 3+ years of experience * Image segmentation, Object recognition, Object pose detection-6 degree of freedom experience * Expertise in programming languages such as Python and/or C++ Preferred Skills and Competencies * Experience processing welding video * Experience with 3D depth estimation and camera calibration experience * Expertise in the OpenCV library This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a United States Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
