Requirements and Responsibilities:
This entry-level position provides support in delivering team solutions to the end user through the installation of hardware and software, as well as ensuring the proper access has been allocated for the end user.
Bachelors degree in information technology related field or equivalent
Passionate about technology and a desire to focus on IT End Users satisfaction
Comptias A+ certification and experience with Lenovo hardware would be a plus
Experience with Microsoft System Center Manager, Windows Active Directory and Windows security
Prior experience performing computer replacements within a corporate environment
High degree of professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical areas
Ability to work hands-on with PC hardware (installation, lifting, labeling, etc.)
Ability to be physically active and lift at least 30lbs.
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Adaptability and ability to learn quickly in high-pressure environments
Ambitious self-starter who has demonstrated the ability to contribute as an effective team member
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Demonstrated motivation and initiative to succeed
Certifications: CompTIA A+ certification preferred, experience with Lenovo systems a plus
Experience with Windows Active Directory and Windows security

EXAMPLES OFDUTIES: Operates and administers various type ofservers, installs and troubleshoots wiring and cabling, computer workstations,and servers; updates existing computer equipment with new hard drives, memoriesand other hardware-related devices as needed; assembles and configures newcomputers and installs work stations; meets with staff on a regular basis todetermine technology needs, including the selection of appropriate software;assesses the computer skills of users to design and deliver appropriatetraining; provides technical support to staff in the use of computer equipment andsoftware, including office applications, the Internet, desktop publishing andimage processing; participates in the planning of the school's annualtechnology budget; maintains the school's computer network security system,ensures the inventorying of all computer hardware, software and relatedperipheral equipment assists in coordinating the installation of new technologyby outside vendors; may assist in the supervision of students in computerlaboratories, under the immediate supervision of a classroom teacher possessinga valid state teaching certificate. DESIRABLE MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS: Training and Experience.
