The ideal candidate will possess expertise in employing active and experiential learning methodologies while demonstrating a passion for teaching and learning. This individual will play a pivotal role in fostering a student-centered environment, catering to diverse learning styles and levels of proficiency.Key responsibilities in this position include, but are not limited to: * Instructing students across a range of subjects within the assigned curriculum. * Teaching courses utilizing traditional and alternative delivery methods, including day, evening, and alternate schedule formats, as well as virtual learning environments. * Assessing student academic achievement at the classroom, departmental, and college levels. * Participating actively in departmental and college communities through a variety of activities such as curriculum development, service on committees, engagement in student life activities, involvement in department initiatives, and contribution to grant initiatives.We are seeking an educator who is committed to empowering students in the field of Computer Systems Networking through an innovative and student-focused approach. Associate degree in a computer or information technology field.Occupational Experience Requirement:Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in networking, network administration, cybersecurity, or forensics.Recency Requirement:One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.Preferred QualificationsExperience with various version of Windows Server and Linux operating systems, multi-vendor firewall experience, Intrusion Detection Systems, Cisco/Juniper Routers and Switches, Powershell, and programming languages such a Python.Other RequirementsIn accordance with the Minnesota State's Vehicle Fleet Safety Program, employees driving on college/university business who use a rental or state vehicle shall be required to conform to MinnState's vehicle use criteria and consent to a Motor Vehicle Records check.AboutAnoka Technical College (ATC) provides innovative career and technical education to help our students and communities live and learn well.
