Job Description:

Assists and supports the Local Area Network (LAN) engineer install, maintain, repair and enhance the Local Area Network (LAN) to guarantee system operation. Assists users (including Main Operating Bases) install, troubleshoot and effect repairs to software and hardware (work station PCs, network servers, back-ups, and associated equipment) malfunctions.

Installs new computer hardware and software as directed. Responds to customer requests to ensure electronic classroom and computer based training equipment is ready for training. Prepares, issues, and maintains laptops used to support C130 Training students.

Loads courseware as it is released from Configuration Management to ensure training material is current. Researches and provides specifications for hardware and software to support logistical requirements for replacement, repair or enhancement of the system or associated equipment. Assists Configuration Management in maintaining inventory records for both hardware and software components.

Teaches classes for users as new equipment/software is introduced. Provides training, orientation and assistance to newly hired personnel as required. Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required.

Must be capable of attaining a SECRET clearance.

Basic Qualifications

Expert in resolving user issues with Microsoft Office suite of products.

Certification in SSCP, A+, or NETWORK+.

Must be highly organized, able to establish priorities and complete tasks on deadline.

Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skills, an ability to plan and forecast tasks to meet multiple deadlines.

Experience in network maintenance and analysis

Experience in server maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation.

Experience in applying regulatory guidance (AFI 33 series, DOD 8500, NIST standards) to IT infrastructure current structure and projected capabilities

Strong oral & written communication abilities and proven ability to instruct classes on variety of IT related topics.

Three to five (3 to 5) years of experience in network analysis or hardware troubleshooting and repairs in a real time environment. Experience must be current.

Solid ability to organize and a high desire to provide customer satisfaction.

Must be capable of obtaining a Secret DoD security clearance. Obtaining a clearance requires US citizenship.

VIEW JOBS 7/27/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-10-25T00:00 Job Description The Configuration Analyst (CA) reports directly to the TSSC System Integration Manager and is responsible for the configuration management/version control of software and courseware on the C-130J MATS Program. The CA's primary responsibility is to build and maintain Maintenance and Aircrew Training Device software baselines and Radar/Visual databases. The CA provides Configuration Management support to the Design Change and Instructional Change Request tracking system in Master Control and provides status to customers, partners, key decision makers, and other stakeholders. Specific duties include: Configuration Management: Ensures proper application of Design Changes (DC) for USAF and NAVAIR on over 45 Aircrew Training Devices (ATD) at 11 sites worldwide in order to sustain a standardized fleet of devices. Maintains traceability to customer requirements, and configuration/version control for all products. Develops processes ensuring compliance with CFR Part 60/AS9100, and customer transparency/trust/satisfaction. Provides version control/traceability for USAF Aircrew Courseware. Training Load Development/Build: Analyzes system configuration to determine applicability of DCs. Coordinates with Engineering to develop tailored, compatible training loads on a quarterly basis for each site/device. Delivers/installs software upgrades, facilitates testing and customer acceptance. Maintains and installs current, standardized Visual and Radar Databases across entire fleet of ATDs. Workflow Management: Tracks Design, Courseware and Process changes through workflow ensuring timely completion and compliance with contracts and quality standards. Develops/delivers metrics to management and customers in order to support data-driven decisions. Develops/implements processes across the enterprise focusing on synergy, efficiency, and effectiveness. Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) Control/Delivery: Tracks CDRL deadlines. Coordinates with responsible managers for timely delivery. Ensures proper documentation, and posting to proper repositories. Coordinates customer comments as necessary and rectifies deficiencies when needed. Basic Qualifications Ability to develop documentation, instructions, and presentations required. Should be familiar with military and industry configuration management standards. Requires understanding of technical principles, theories and concepts, including the interrelated disciplines of Configuration Management and Change Management. International Travel is required.
