Information Technology Services (ITS)
Responsibilities
Provides quality, effective, reliable, and responsive ITS service support to FSU Students, Faculty, and Staff regarding their computing needs. Performs routine tasks in high-level and secure systems.
Configures, maintains, troubleshoots, or modifies computers, software, hardware, multimedia equipment, and related devices. Initiates routine diagnostics to determine the cause of equipment or software failure and follows standard procedures for problem resolution. Installs and customizes application software.
Performs other duties as assigned. A State vehicle, golf cart, or utility vehicle will be used to reach site premises. A valid driver's license will be needed in order to operate vehicle.
Qualifications
High School Graduate or equivalent and one year of experience
Position requires a Class E Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
Must have at least one year of customer service experience
Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Must have the ability to read and follow directions
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Must have the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
Must have a basic understanding of computer hardware and software
Must have experience using the Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Microsoft Windows and MacOS
