Provides second level support for PC-related problems by answering questions or resolving computer related problems, via person, telephone, or from a remote location. Provides assistance concerning the use of end user and infrastructure computer hardware and software. Helps IT Administrators in determining user specifications for hardware and software, and training users on software and hardware needs. Provides excellent service to guests, vendors and Team Members.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for knowing the, operation, maintenance, upgrading, and troubleshooting for all kiosk hardware and software including all ticket redemption, bill breaking, and ATM functions.

  • Responsible for phishing campaigns; design, approval, implementation, verification, and training of those that do not pass the campaign.

  • Responsible for the administration, operation, maintenance, upgrading, and troubleshooting of all workstations: software, hardware, and peripheral equipment. This includes all workstations, all printers/copiers/fax machines, the audio system, and the video system.

  • Assist with Administration, operation, maintenance, upgrading, and troubleshooting of Gaming and Corporate related software, hardware, and peripheral equipment as defined by Supervisor

  • Responsible for initial monthly computer/laptop security scans. Evaluating vulnerabilities with Help Desk Technicians and coming up with next course of action for vulnerabilities that need further attention.

  • Management of Inventory solution. This includes working with other departments that use the application as well as managing and maintaining inventory for IT.

  • Responsible for POS System; hardware, software, configuration, customized buttons and features. Access to Server for support with vendor.

  • Responsible for Hotel Hospitality System; hardware, software, configuration. Access to Server for support with vendor.

  • Responsible for User Setup, assigning appropriate access levels in Gaming and Corporate applications; based on position and approvals. This includes but is not limited to all applicable applications, remote management solutions/applications.

  • Responsible for the setup and review of Anti-Virus Software. First line of defense and review. If further review is needed; must be able to determine if next level of IT involvement is needed.

  • Responsible for setting up desktop phones within the phone management software.

  • Responsible for the remote deployment of applications solution such as Ghost.

  • Implements, maintains and enforces policy and procedures.

  • Assists in the training and support of the Help Desk Technicians; including but not limited to one on one training, assigning tickets, following through with delegated projects and tasks.

  • Assist in Installing and maintaining network cabling.

  • Responsible for providing customer service and end-user training on all software, hardware, network, and peripheral equipment. Ensures a maximum level of Team Member and guest service throughout the property in and out of their department.

  • Keep current with industry trends and technology to help maintain company's competitive edge.

  • Prepare written and oral reports

  • Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of IT Department records and reports to include but not limited to inventory of IT assets.

  • Participate in special projects and all other duties requested by the IT Director.

Job Qualifications

  • Two year certificate in Computer Science or related field is preferred; a minimum of 3 years verifiable experience is required.

  • Keep confidential data secure from outside.

  • Ability to uphold complete confidentiality is required.

  • Must display professionalism when representing PCCH.

  • Must work well with people, possess excellent customer service skills and sensitivity to diverse cultures.

  • Must possess strong oral and written communications skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain accuracy is required.

  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in stressful situations is necessary.
