This is a full-time, tenure track and benefit-eligible faculty position. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
SALARY/RANK: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: The qualified candidate will have an M.S. in Computer Science (Ph.D. is preferred) or an ABD equivalent in computer science.
Previous experience teaching in a university/college setting is preferred. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent teaching abilities to instruct undergraduate students in the classic areas of computer science. These include, but are not limited to, the areas of programming, algorithms, architecture, discrete structures, intelligent systems, operating systems, and computational theory. The candidate should also have specific knowledge in a particular application of computer science such as cybersecurity, software development, or data science.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The teaching requirements are 12 credits per semester.
Background and curricular needs will dictate which courses will be scheduled. In addition, the individual will be expected to perform normal teaching duties at the college level including advising at the undergraduate level; developing, reviewing, and revising curriculum; participating in service to the University and to the department, the discipline, and the local community.
