Requirements/Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification):

• Must demonstrate completion of core program requirements for associate degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in MS Exchange, VMWare, Ethernet and TCP/IP networking protocols, and Microsoft Active Directory a plus.
• Qualified candidate will have strong knowledge and experience with networking such as LAN/ WAN managed switches, Ethernet and TCP/IP networking protocols.
• Certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Desktop Support a plus.

Job Duties (Summary):

County government office seeks an IT Support Technician to help support the existing network infrastructure. Duties include being responsible for maintaining and upgrading desktop computers and peripherals, network support across multiple platforms, while ensuring 24/7 availability of LAN and WAN equipment.
