Job Description

CNC Operator Machinist Job Duties:

  • Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

  • Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.

  • Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.

  • Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads.

  • Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.

  • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.

  • Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

  • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.

  • Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.

  • Due to the nature of work conducted within the Aerospace and Defense industry, should be an US Person Only

  • CNC Operator Machinist Skills and Qualifications:5 to 8 years' experience in CNC programming.
  • Proficient in: Catia V5 (NC Milling) multi-axis machining including mill/turn machines (3000+ hours)

  • And Vericut (3,000+ hours), machine language (G-code), part and in-process probing using Renishaw probing software, and Fanuc machine controls.

Through utilization of the nursing process , the clinical nurse diagnoses and treats patient and family responses to actual or potential health problems. The Clinical Nurse is accountable to the patient, family, peers, and Manager. Responsibilities The Mission Control RN is responsible for providing high-quality patient care to various patient populations within the framework of the YNHHS Home Hospital Model and includes the following key elements: Utilizing monitoring, assessment, planning, intervention and critical thinking skills to care for acute care patient populations in the home Navigating patients and families across the continuum of the YNHHS Home Hospital phases of care Monitoring and responding to biometric data per YNHHS Home Hospital protocols Conducting home and audio/visual patient care visits as directed by the care team and/or protocol Ensuring all interventions in the patient's care plan are implemented efficiently with a patient centered approach Leveraging the resources and expertise of the YNHHS Home Hospital team and supplier partners to implement collaborative workflows, standards, policies, protocols, guidelines and documentation systems to support safe, reliable, high-quality, evidence-based care with clinical protocols as the foundation Adhering to the clinical protocols and be willing to obtain the necessary training to provide care within the context of the providing evidence-based care Promoting professional practice and a culture of safety; willingness to engage in process improvement efforts Clinical Roles and Responsibilities: Providing protocol driven assessment, care coordination and interventions as appropriate informed by YNHHS Home Hospital protocols for diverse patient populations with a focus on oncology, medicine and post- operative care Exhibiting sound clinical decision making and critical thinking skills Maintain and practice in accordance with nursing guidelines per state and hospital regulations Facilitating admissions to YNHHS Home Hospital utilizing our guidelines Serving as a role model for professional nursing practice Utilizing nursing knowledge to identify, prevent and/or solve complex acute and/or recurring patient care problems Sharing expertise with the multidisciplinary team and serve as a resource to staff in area(s) of expertise Supporting research efforts to advance knowledge and promote evidence-based practice Preforming other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Nursing Quality and Safety Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with reporting requirements in RL Solutions for Sentinel Events and Serious Incidents Participate in quality and safety investigations and root cause analyses Take appropriate action to ensure patient safety as a result of any investigation; and Serve as a resource in quality improvement processes and technique Qualifications EDUCATION Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
