NES Associates, a CSRA company, is currently looking for a Computer Network Defense (CND) Analyst to join our mission critical team located at Columbus, OH. The candidate will provide support to the DoD Agency's CERT in performing CSSP functions to include but not limited to, handling and developing Warning Intelligence, providing Attack Sensing & Warning to subscribers, performing incident response, and developing Cloud and ICS security capabilities.

The candidate will coordinate with the Agency's subscriber groups to include network and system administrators, program managers and other internal Agency groups as required. This is done with the intention of ensuring incident analysis and incident handling functions are conducted across the enterprise to protect the Agency's data, networks, and applications in accordance with DoD directives. In addition, the contractor will communicate with the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) and Information Assurance (IA) professionals across the Department of Defense for reporting and situational awareness as well as to coordinate the implementation of new taskings and directives across the Agency. Candidates interested in applying for the Computer Network Defense (CND) Analyst opportunity should possess an active Top Secret and have a current IAM-III certification (CISM, CISSP, GSLC) in order to be considered for this opportunity.

As the selected Computer Network Defense (CND) Analyst, you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

  • Perform actions to protect, monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to unauthorized activity within assigned information systems and computer networks.

  • Employ Cybersecurity capabilities and deliberate actions to respond to a CND alert or emerging situational awareness/threat.

  • Serve as an expert on CND requirements and compliance to such requirements by using IA tools and techniques to perform compliance analysis and correlation, tracking and remediation coordination, and escalating CND non- compliance.

  • Provide technical analysis and sustainment support for the enterprise for IA tools and applications and assists with the application of Defense-In-Depth signatures and perimeter defense controls to diminish network threats.

In order to be considered for the Computer Network Defense (CND) Analyst opportunity with NES Associates, a CSRA company, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Have five (5) years of relevant experience

  • Must possess a DOD TOP SECRET Clearance

  • Must possess and maintain relevant certification meeting DOD 8570.01 IAT level II

  • Must possess and maintain one of the following CSSP-IR certifications: CEH, CFR, CySA+ (CSA+), GCFA, GCIH, SCYBER, GCIA, or GICSP

SUMMARYReporting to the Director of Global Distribution, this individual will be responsible for developing tracking capabilities, reporting, validating and leading efforts to continuously improve the key performance indicators developed to monitor overall performance. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on collaborator to drive the development and improvement of Distribution Network encompassing both internal owned/operated sites and our network of 3PL partners globally. Position will work in parallel with DC leadership groups to find better ways - become more efficient - while maintaining our primary objective of a safe and positive place to work for our associates and leaders. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and coordinate management of periodic reports, summaries of KPI's, and performance to business plans/goals. * Participate in the development of cross collaborative Network projects in support of improved operations/network execution. * Work with WM SMEs within the Distribution and Systems teams; source/develop data to provide measurement capabilities where needed. * Ensure the integrity of and validate the data supplied by the Operations team, the ERP system and other databases used to report metrics and performance. * Develop and manage the Capital and Operating Budgets for the Network. * Drive the monthly financial forecasting process with DC Leaders. * Collaborate with Distribution and Operations leadership to develop, test, and implement new key performance metrics and conduct ad hoc root cause analyzes. * Act as a source of operations and supply chain knowledge and problem-solving capabilities to deliver sound analyses, recommendations, and actionable improvement programs across the organization. * Work with other departments of the business such as Finance, IT, Planning & Inventory, and Transportation as needed for routine reporting of KPI's, continuous improvement and ad hoc projects. * Participate in field observations, training and analysis to drive consistency of operational data across the supply chain for ongoing KPI and ad hoc research for key project initiatives. * All employees are expected to perform reasonable work requested but not specifically described above. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
