Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Program Expert to support Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division Dam Neck Activity (NSWCDD DNA) Program. NSWCDD DNA utilizes Research & Development and Engineering to develop innovative, affordable, and effective threat-driven integrated training systems, cyber warfare, fleet readiness and sustainment solutions for the Naval Warfighter. NSWCDD DNA has a requirement to design, develop, produce, deploy and test prototypes in support of its stated mission.

HOW A PROGRAMMER EXPERT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Builds and codes applications and/or models using various computer programming languages

Program Expert responsibilities include providing guidance and direction to employees about various programs within the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

Required Experience: 15 years of full time experience in network computer equipment and routine computer programming.

Required Technical Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Program Expert or similar role

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, researching, and report writing

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities

• Good time management and organizational skills

• Relevant training and/or certifications as a Program Specialist

Security Clearance Level: Secret

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Plan and attend collaboration meetings to ensure projects are on schedule

• Create monthly and/or quarterly budgets for all company programs

• Provide consultation services regarding compliance with tax laws, policies, and company procedures

• Report feedback on the success and/or failure of certain projects and activities
