Job Description:

To provide timely and accurate technology support services relating to computer account lifecycle, which involves: acquisition, account creation, account modification, account deletions, overall account auditing, account management and password management on all supported platforms. This also includes group management, automated management techniques through scripting or batch programming, LDAP and directory understanding and basic troubleshooting. This position related to the department objective by accurately providing the computer accounts needed to ODU faculty, staff and students in order to use the many services provided by ITS.

Minimum Qualifications:

Working knowledge of multiple operating systems. Working knowledge of client server systems such as Banner or a similar program.

Demonstrated skill and ability to utilize personal computers and related software. Demonstrated effective communication skills. Demonstrated attention to details and workflow processes.

Demonstrated ability to interact with computer vendors and University community. Understanding of policy and procedure, and the ability to implement that understanding across a wide range of computer system account management and lifecycle support.
