Qualifications Education Level Required/Preferred Description Education Education Level Required/Preferred Description 2 Year / Associate Degree Preferred Other Required Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program Experience Years of Experience Required/Preferred Description 1 Preferred One year experience in CT Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096. Licensure/Certification Type (ex NP, RN, CMA) Required/Preferred NH Medical Center- Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire Required NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) Required NH Medical Group Office-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) Required IV Credentialed Required Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement Required Applicable state license Required Additional Skills/Requirements (required) • Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.

Prepares patient for procedures. Operates CT equipment. Responsibilities Temp Assignment Based CT techs are experienced, proficient technologist within their specialty responsible for providing safe, continuous quality patient care in a variety of settings.

These CT techs are temporarily assigned to one unit for a designated number of weeks based on needs of the system. These CT techs possess the skills, competency and qualifications, as well as a requirement to work in any Novant Health location. The CT technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
