Compounding Technician Oleo

Actalent is currently hiring for a Compounding Technician in the Abingdon, MD area!

Job Description:

Compounding Technician at Trilogy - Oleo Room

• Operation of equipment, including temperature checking and completion of batch records per GMP and SOPs

• Solvent extraction of pepper powder using a suitable organic solvent such as acetone, ethanol, ethyl acetate or ethylene dichloride.

• Complete calculations as required

• Perform product inspection and provide samples for quality control testing

• Recording of various data points as required

• Works within the sample lab combining and pulling samples for clients

• The company makes various citrus (orange, lemon, lime, etc.) flavors in the forms of essences, emulsions, extractions, sprays, etc.

• Compound*, blend*, batch mak*, batch mix*, conversions, Chemical, Distillation, Compound, Compounding, Production, Mixing, Purification, Batching, Chemistry, Gmp, Batch mixer, Blending, Food production, Batch making, Blender

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of a HS degree with solid attention to detail and ability to learn unique processes that are very detail specific

• Previous experience in GMP environment

• Previous experience in laboratory is okay as well as long as they know its a Compounding.

• No BS degree w/ experience $18-20/hr

• With degree, they can go higher with the pay
