The Pharmacy Compounding Coordinator is responsible for the management of pharmaceutical compounding including sterile and non-sterile products to ensure the highest quality standards in accordance with established regulations and procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent
Current certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
Registration with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy (NCBOP) within 30 days of hire
Minimum Work Experience:
years of pharmacy technician experience
Completion of USP 797/800 training and/or certification by a recognized training organization (i.e.
Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
Ability to work in a self-directed work team and function effectively in a high-volume, multiple demand
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
