Compounder Technician

This top client that specializes in seasoning & spices is looking to hire a lab technician !

Job Description:

Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and multiple tasks, with ability to take direction from product developers, scientists, and supervisor is required.

Previous compounding and weighing experience preferred, with proven accuracy and strong attention to detail.

Experience with lab scales, kitchen utensils, mixers, and ingredients.

Ability to work accurately with calculations, such as ratios, decimals, percentages, etc., as related to seasoning formulae in a fast-paced, high-volume environment required.

Demonstrated data entry and basic PC skills, including Excel and Word required

Good communication skills, including written and verbal, required.

Proven ability to work within a team environment as well as the ability to work independently required.

Demonstrated problem solving skill required.

Comfort with food product preparations including tasks as baking, frying etc.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, food science or related science preferred. High School graduate with strengths in science or math related fields or high school diploma required.

• 1-2 years of industry experience

• Expereince with compounding and mixing

• Must be capable of utilizing all senses required for the evaluation of, i.e. color perception, taste and smell. Physical requirements: Ability to lift 10 pounds continuously, 20 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Shift: Monday-Friday 1st Shift
