Description
Our client in the aerospace industry specializes in solving the sector's most challenging ice protection and temperature control problems. From initial design concepts through aircraft integration and operation, they provide the highest quality full-lifecycle support to their customers.

They are seeking an outgoing individual to specialize in the precision manufacturing of composite materials in the Autoclave Area.

Responsibilities

• Perform vacuum bagging and related processes for fabricating and curing composite parts.
• Clean and smooth molds, cores, and core boxes, and repair surface imperfections.
• Assemble cores into lower sections of molds to create mold assemblies per work instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• De-mold cured parts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Document materials used in creating parts for traceability purposes.
• Work to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Use a scanner for time, attendance, and work traveler documentation.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• General knowledge of practices and procedures used to fabricate composite parts or similar is preferred.
• Ability to read and correctly interpret instructions.
• Ability to use measuring instruments.
• Ability to lift rolls of material.
• Computer proficiency.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
