The EEE Components Engineer should also have a working knowledge of component selection, screening, parts qualification and derating of Electrical, Electronic, and Electro mechanical components used in military applications.
The selected Candidate should be a self-starter, capable of handling several tasks at once.
The selected candidate must be able to work without supervision.
Candidate must be able to interface with Government customers (both in meetings and through presentation preparation), handle document issues relating to new component releases and qualification, handle component related failures, handle component noncompliance issues, handle program prohibited items such as pure-tin and able to handle counterfeit part detection.



Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
Must be proficient with computer tools such as MS Excel and Access.
Candidate should have experience in electrical component manufacturing process and physical property analysis.
This position requires periodic travel to both the customer and supplier locations.


The ideal candidate is a Material Science Engineer with electrical component experience or an Electrical Engineer with 5 years or more experience in Component Engineering.
Experience in Components Engineering with broad knowledge of electronic components and devices.
The ideal candidate has experience working electrical components on a Production Program.
Experience in the disposition of Q-Notes.
Experience with parts release process, and with formal Configuration Board support.
Experience working with Global Supply Chain, Quality and Manufacturing groups.

Become a Lockheed Martin electrical engineer. You are meant to solve the hardest challenges. The successful candidate will a have demonstrated knowledge and experience with military analog systems. The successful candidate will also provide technical oversight and monitoring of a major subcontract and related sub tier subcontracts. The candidate will have the ability to perform detailed analysis and be able to review subcontractor electrical schematics (e.g. CCA, test equipment) to ensure all requirements are met. The analysis will include SPICE circuit simulation to validate expected operation of varied analog circuitry i.e. gate drives, switching and linear voltage regulators, filters. The candidate should be able to evaluate PWB layout analysis (e.g. part placement, routing), FPGA/DSP power integrity and signal integrity analysis as well as component derating and power consumption analyses. The candidate must possess experience using MATLAB/Simulink modeling to assess actuator control dynamics such as bandwidth, stability, etc. Design experience for Electromagnetic Interference and Compatibility is a must. Technical oversight of a major subcontract will also require the candidate to review and approve numerous technical supplier deliverables such as component reliability/failure rate analysis, plastic encapsulated device qualification plans and various other test plans to cover design verification, component solder integrity, unit acceptance and environmental analysis. The Candidate must be able to work in a collaborative IPT environment and will be responsible for representing LM in several IPTs. They should have experience in risk management and earned value management. The candidate should be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills. They should possess superior verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with customers and contractors in a highly charged environment. Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret security clearance. International Travel approximately 15-25% anticipated with limited (1-2) short 60 day stays likely.
