Develops courseware to support new and existing products, often though not exclusively in conjunction with Product Division.

Coordinate and evaluate development contributions from other courseware development team members. Develop certification questions for use in the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) exams. Solicit & incorporate feedback from reviews and training events. Deliver training at train-the-trainer and pilot events.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Bachelor*s Degree in Computer Science or Instructional Design. Two years adult education experience (as teacher or curriculum developer). Five years technical or professional experience using Oracle products or related software. Strong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge and experience. Knowledge of XML, Java, and J2EE technologies. Experience with Oracle9i Database administration. Knowledge of Oracle9i Application server.

About the Team:

We are seeking a dynamic Analyst to support the Director of Compliance & Ethics Training and Education Programs. This role is a full time position that can be based in any of the following locations

  • Durham, NC; San Antonio TX; Bozeman, MT; or Salt Lake City, UT.

We are looking for another team member with instinctively good judgment and impeccable integrity. You will provide support during the development of content, tools, databases, reporting metrics, and the maintenance of compliance training, communications, and policies.

About the Role:

You will play an active role in the administration and growth of Oracle's Global Compliance and Ethics program. You will assist in the prevention and awareness portion of the program, which includes policy governance, training communications, online and face-to-face compliance course creation for both employees and partners, training videos, reporting, and other activities. While working with the team at HQ and with regional personnel around the globe, your responsibilities will only be your willingness to take action and build positive change.

Duties include:

  • Support companywide training and communications efforts.

  • Facilitate training presentations, in-person and via web conferencing, provided by regional Compliance Officers and/or the Code of Conduct policies and procedures.

  • Assist with the building and administration of the training library.

  • Run and update Compliance & Ethics websites, including the Policy Governance site once developed.

  • Provide reports and metrics on training, policy, and other compliance related matters.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years relevant experience in the Training, Education, HR, Marketing, Communications, Legal, or other related field.

  • Ability to use and become proficient at existing and/or new adult learning methodologies, learning management systems, training software (e.g., Flash, HTML5, Articulate).

  • Ability to collaborate with internal partners and external vendors.

  • BA/BS degree.

  • Excellent academic credentials.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Proficient in full MS Office suite, advanced in Power Point and related software (such as Prezi)

  • Ability to learn new software and tools as needed for the training program.

  • Project/program management experience is a plus.

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to balance multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

  • Dedication to ethical business practices.

  • Experience with/strong interest in corporate compliance on a global or regional level preferred.

  • Ability to do some travel (around 10%).

Within GCES, the Disclosures team coordinates the global evaluation of potential regulatory filings, evaluates employee disclosures, and assists in preparing regulatory filings relating to reportable employee disclosures.
