Job Description:

Position Overview:

The Siemens Compliance Operations Center is seeking a Compliance Specialist to support Compliance relevant functionality in SAP or other ERP/financial systems of the Siemens Companies conducting business in the Americas region. You can work from one of the following Siemens office locations: Orlando, FL, Alpharetta, GA or Buffalo Grove, IL.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Become a subject matter expert on CIP2SAP (Siemens specific tool) and Compliance related functionality in ERP Systems

  • Serve as Compliance point of contact to Siemens GS IT, particularly for ERP related Change Requests and modifications such as OSS Notes (including testing )

  • Work with Compliance, Supply Chain Management and Treasury to develop and optimize automated processes, dashboards, red flag alerts, etc. to identify and mitigate Compliance risks throughout the Purchase-to-Pay lifecycle.

  • Monitor Compliance relevant dashboards and alert systems, and involve the necessary Compliance team members to resolve issues and mitigate risks.

  • Manage report writing for extraction of data from SAP and other key systems (e.g. Oracle)

  • Collaborate with Siemens Global Headquarters Compliance on various Compliance related digitalization initiatives

  • Support Compliance controls, audits and reviews through validation of system settings, report generation, transaction reviews, etc.

  • IMS Ticket management and assistance, including harmonization of Compliance roles in SAP across Americas

  • Evaluate and Communicate system updates and new tools to the Compliance organization

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, IT systems or a related field, required

  • Five plus years of Compliance experience

  • Minimum three years experience with SAP or other ERP systems

  • Advanced knowledge of SAP systems and database functionality

  • Advanced change management and project management skills

  • Advanced skills with MS Office products

  • Advanced logic and problem solving experience and capabilities

  • Basic understanding of the CIP2SAP connectivity

  • Ability to work in multi-cultural, geographically dispersed international team

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Skills / Experience:

  • Bi/Multi-Lingual (English + Brazilian Portuguese, Canadian French, or Spanish)

This is a temporary grant-funded position with a planned end date of December 2021 (approximately 3 years), renewable subject to grant funding availability and requirements. Essential Functions: Assists with post award/close-out/oversight of major capital projects implementation, reporting, and contracts compliance. Tracks and monitors grant requirements; works extensively with project managers to ensure compliance. Assists in implementing grantor requirements for carrying out projects and providing the necessary accountability and transparency. Establishes and maintains electronic and hard copy files for each grant-funded project to be used for tracking and reporting purposes. Assists in oversight of project budgets and grant funding (LYNX operating and capital budgets development), including project carryovers, planning activities, grant funds budgeting for operating projects and projects with multiple funding sources. Responsible for grants/projects set-up and maintenance in the grants management system. Develops and maintains a schedule of values for construction project billings. Maintains and reviews accuracy of electronic grant registers on programmed budgets, obligations, payments, un-liquidated obligations, un-obligated funds and available funds for federal, state, and local grants, including any financing contingent upon future grants. Assists in maintaining accuracy on the reporting of projects, expenditures and obligations, reviews adequacy of supporting records and governing procedures to account for resources and operations, in compliance with stimulus requirements. Reviews completeness and accuracy of financial reports on all grant transactions. Reviews accuracy of FTA/FDOT draws and billings Responsible for financial tracking of grant transactions, including project management costs, capital cost of contracting, preventive maintenance. Assists in the preparation and completion of special condition reports and quarterly grant reports. Assists LYNX compliance during Triennial reviews, Office of Inspector General (OIG) visits, project/financial oversight reviews and annual audits. Provides assistance in all aspects of grants administration, including research from technical, legislative and statutory references. Assists with formal and informal presentations and reports. Exhibits strong team behavior with all LYNX staff and support personnel. Performs other duties as may be required or assigned. Required Qualifications: Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in public transportation, grant preparation and administration; or a combination of related experience, education, and training. Desired Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in business, finance or economics. * Previous experience with construction project administration support and grant funding. * Previous government project experience and/or supervisory experience.
